January is looking good to qualify now. qualify for where? Anywhere and SDSU. His grades have been a big problem in the past and leading up to this year.

its great to know we've come this far that players like this are back up options.
His film looks good, would love to have him but Pelle or Sheppard is the main goal

St. John Bosco has done a great job getting him academically on track. BTW, we have a connection being that Coach Matt Hart the boys Varsity Coach at St. John Bosco in 2002 became the top assistant for our girls program back in the day.

I know that we're loaded for next year, but if we get either Shepard, Pelle, or January, I think we have a serious chance at a final four. Some people are saying we could hold the last scholarship for 2013, but I think we need to get one of these guys NOW. Next year is our last year in the Mountain West, and we need to put all of our marbles into next season. We need to go out with a bang. If we get one of these guys, and if the team plays with the heart that they're playing with this year, I'm getting tickets to the Final Four.

The team next year will be better than last years team.

Next years team will be the best we have ever had on the Mesa. I would say whoever we get needs to be able to play right away.

I think both us and UNLV will be in the top 10 all next season. MWC tourny is going to be EPIC next year.

They lose 4 senior starters plus there's talk (on ESPN rumors) that Moser might turn pro. Shabazz's team is only top 20 in high school, so even if they get him they'll need a supporting cast to be ranked. I think they'll take a huge step back next year and they won't be ranked for very much of the year if at all.

let's pump the brakes a little... We are having a magical season, but several close games could go the other way next year. A #12 18-2 team could have been 15-5, and unranked. Some years you have it (this year) and some years you don't.

The Hamilton Twins go to St. John Bosco.

There is no question we will be better on paper, but the best team doesn't always win.

Its obvious Fisher is trusting him and the assistants(and in some instances almost challenging them) to do most of the game planning and even some press work. Fisher even made a comment, I believe it was yesterday, about how Dutcher is free to make adjustments as he sees fit. Fisher is definitely grooming him.

you never know how freshman will adjust their first year, (Spencer,Shrigley) remember Leonard his first year then his second.,Transfers who are there for a whole year, get to know the system(i.e- the-X-man) Polee, JJ. Johnson can not get game time experience until mid December. Will all the players work together and fill their roles as a team, and buy into the system. Very tough to get 11-13 players to share time and be happy. We are not the only school with a good group coming in, 2012 was a very good class especially for front court players for all. Look at the group Arizona brings in for 2012, Kentucky, Kansas,.....

I think they'll take a huge step back next year and they won't be ranked for very much of the year if at all. There will be little to no dropoff at UNLV even if Moser goes pro. They have #9 SG Reinhardt, #45 PF Demetrius Morant, #40 PG Daquan Cook, and 6'9" 5* transfer Khem Birch already on board. They, like us, are in the running for Shepard and Pelle as well as Shabazz and Anthony Bennett and another couple of fallbacks. Next year will be a war during conference and the final MWC tournament between them and us. So let's get at least one more of our targets so once again Fish & Co. sweeps them during our final year (for now) of playing them.
