Of course we'd take him but I think he thinks he's too "big time" to come here. He also has a health issue.

Seems odd that so many players are fleeing USC when they are national champion contenders next year.

Hmm, couldn't be that SC is going to thin out depth in the upper classes so that they can retain their recruiting numbers?
I think this is SC telling the uppers that they are not going to see the field and they are taking up space. JMO.

It is not a coincidence that all these guys have graduated and will not hurt the APR, this is calculated. I am actually implressed that Kiffen or someone on his staff figured this out.

It the corporate world it's called a restructuring plan; forcibly retire or rid senior staff and bring in the yuppies.

I don't mind us being a fallback plan for 4-5 star players who still have a lot of gas left in the NCAA eligibility tank. However, I've read this guy has his mind set on big name BCS schools. It's up to Rocky and Co. to entice him to visit.

There isn't any evidence that these kids are being forced out.
Carlisle: family moved to Indiana. Homesick. Armstead: Mysterious medical issue. A lot of speculation as to what it is. Butler: Buried by 2 great receivers in front of him Prater: See Butler Baxter: Never got out of Kiffin's doghouse
There will, inevitably be more to come. Next year, perhaps SDSU can snag one of those QB's- Scroggins, Wittek, or Kessler, whomever losses the QB battle.

Could Armstead be a package deal with hi younger brother? Yes, even more of a reason why I wouldn't count on him looking to come south.

Unfair? Who knew we had so many USC apologists on here. No $#!+, I can't think of a team more deserving of sanctions. Ohio St. more deserving and next in line is Penn St.
