I'm more concerned about DT than DE, especially if Beed comes back. He looks bigger than 225, btw. Is Galea'i any good? He didn't get any time last year did he?

James, who do you think starts on the OL next year, if we don't bring any JC's? I noticed that the coaches were getting Corbett on the field the last 4 or 5 games at LT. Does he stay at LT or go to RT? Any idea if Dilley or Miller going to shift out to fight Gauld for the LG spot?

At this point Johnson, Embernasty, Gould and Corbett and I would say the other spot is up for grabs. I love Reggie Jones ever since he was at Mt. Miguel. He is big and fast. One of the incoming true freshman may grab a spot.

I have seen few true frosh at SDSU throught years that are ready to start on the OL. Maybe Kwayde Miller will be an exception. But I hope one of the RS frosh step up.

We look really young - guess in the long run that could be good, but next year will be interesting to see who steps up.

Right now, I'd say Reggie Jones is most likely to win the RT spot unless we land Pouvave or Miller blows everyone away.

Dingwell took ronnie's number Don't think so. Depth chart shows his # is 6.

Assuming the weights are fairly accurate we have 1 unproven tackle at 280 in Kenneth Galea'i (SP?). Meredith is listed at 250lbs. The next heaviest guy is a 255lb JC transfer that didn't see the field this year and by most accounts is just "a guy." I hope this is wrong however. I hope the next Strenght coach is a good one and gets here pronto. Spin it anyway you want, its an area of concern at the very least. They're listed weights, they aren't accurate. I've stood next to Meredith. I'll eat my hat if he only weighs 250. Everybody loved our 2010 DL. Here's what their listed height/weights were on Signing Day... Ernie Lawson - 6-4 245 Jerome Long - 6-5 250 BJ Williams - 6-3 215 My point is, we should probably wait to see how they look in fall before we start judging them to be "too small." And DE Beed now is over 245lbs. We have to wait for the current roster for most of these guys.

Thanks for the update K5. I seem to remember those Florida State teams with plenty of speed on defense that were smallish. I always hear that speed kills, and you can never have enough of it. If these are their weights when they were incoming, I am not to concerned. It would be nice to have a big space eater in the middle though.

It seemed that they could over come with speed. But I assume your point is its better to have both, and I have to agree.
