In the mold of Billy White. We'll be a full 2-deep at the 1, 2, 3... PG: XT, LBF SG: Taps, Rahon SF: JF, Shrigley Matt will probably average about 7 mins/game as a frosh, then start at SG his Soph year.

Polee is in school now and practicing with the team. Can he play with the team this Spring? Or does he have to wait until the Fall?

Been told that JJ is absolutely tearing it up in practice and is going to be a beast for us next year.

During the preseason open practice Polee was practicing with the wings not the posts. He's more of a 3. ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Also been told that Polee has the biggest vert of any player to have ever played here.

From what I've read, he doesn't seem to have the handles or outside shot I'd expect in a 3. But... I fully admit to not have ever seen him in person. So I'm just speculating.

I agree that Billy's numbers are inflated. But, that likely means Polee's 195 is exaggerated too since their weights are from the same source. If they are inflated the same amount, take whatever you think Billy's weight was and subtract it by 40lbs This year's team already plays a 4 guard line-up down the stretch, next year will be the same. I'll say this, Rahon needs to improve and become the Rahon of old or someone will take his spot next season.

Shrigley was named MVP of the Torrey Pines Tournament (American Division). He will force his way into playing time at the 2 and 3 next year. Probably will get 10-15 minutes.
I also believe Polee to be a 3, but will play some 4 against teams that don't have big guys down low. Or when Fisher wants to run and gun. It will be difficult for Polee to match up defensive against legitimate 4's.

Rahon is getting over a injury and will get back to what he was in the pre-season games when he was the best player on the court for us. Our guards next year are going to be great! They will be one the top 3 backcourts in the nation next year.

Polee has said he prefers to play SF. So against quality teams you have Polee, Jamaal, Rahon, Tapley, X , LBF or Shrigley(one of those two may want to redshirt) Upfront we have Spencer,JJ, Stephens,Williams,. The definite need is a PF with one of our two remaining scholarships.

Story on Scout.com for subscribers. Torrey Pines: Day Four sandiegostate.scout.com/2/1144189.htmlThey talk about Shrigley and how he has improved from last year on both sides of the ball. They also talked about 13 PG Brandon Randolph how he is a good scoring PG. 13 SF Dakarai Allen, a very good versatile player.
