Michigan's offense was bad today sans Robinson.

If we would have been at least mediocre on offense and finish drives, then Robinson would have been forced to throw and Borges wouldnt have looked so good.
Truth is Denard made Borges look good, not the other way around. And our ineptitude on offense allowed Borges to play to Denard's strength.
We started to contain the run and forced the pass in the second half.. but it was too late.

Al Borges is to football what Justin Hutson is to basketball. The greatest assistant coach ever. He can't be replaced.

Michigan's offense was bad today sans Robinson. He's nothing more than a very fast option QB. He can't throw worth a lick so you have to bottle him up it was obvious the 3-3-5 didn't have enoug beef or speed at the necessary time. The rest of their backs and receivers were average.

So they bring McFadden in (defense) and hand off to him as he is crossing over behind Lindely. He picks up 10. Nice play. But then they bring him in on another position and run the exact same play, this time he loses 5 yards. Really?

And the 335 is the nickel on roids. Al has given up on the pro set, it is all window dressing, they run wildcat.

Michigan's offense was bad today sans Robinson. Sans Robinson's feet. Brady better Hoke that Robinson doesn't get hurt because they really have no offense without his feet.

Last week Ludwig was a genius. This week we should throw him off the bus. We are a fickle group here. We lost to what looks like abetter team in front of 100000+ fans playing against our old coaching staff. Would have like to won but it would have been an upset. TCU and AFA are next. Lets just slow down here. It was obvious that they expolited their knowledge of our players' weaknesses and shortcomings. Fair enough, good coaching.

I just don't think Michigan can do anything else, regardless of how good or a game Borges calls. I get the impression that when given the opportunity, he calls what he wants the offense to run going forward, but when he must have yardage he calls the only things that work...Denard run or Denard option.

The problem was that we have a lousy big game QB. absolutely horrible game from Lindley.

We didn't get out-coached, we we out-manned. Their OL and DL was bigger and stronger than ours. They didn't do any new or trick plays. They did what they have been doing all year. They were better in the trenches, and it showed. Ronnie had a difficult time and Ryan was forced to hurry too many times. Besides that, Michigan's 2 4th down plays were obvious and we couldn't stop them. They did nothing fancy, just beat us up.
Gotta give respect to Brady; it could have been worse.

4th and 1 call was perfect...we had our guy wide open...Lindley threw behind him...poor execution.

If Ryan makes a good throw we are right back in the game in the 4th quarter.

If Ryan makes a good throw we are right back in the game in the 4th quarter. Assuming you guys are referring to the errant pass to Escobar, that's exactly correct. Those moron announcers for the Big Ten Network said it was a bad call. bull$#!+. Escobar was wide open and Ryan had sufficient time but he panicked anyway and missed Gavin badly. If he hits Escobar, we continue the momentum we had on the previous drive which went for a TD and maybe we put the rock in the end zone and trial by only seven with plenty of time to catch Michigan. However, that being in the fourth quarter there was no margin for error so the bad throw was thoroughly deflating.

is definately the better OCorrd. WTF with our guy-stupid game calls. Hard to tell given Lindley's bad day passing and Hillman's uncharacteristic fumbles.
