To put it in perspective, and from the old-timers' point-of-view, it would've taken you four seasons to see as many wins as we'll see this season.
From '91/'92 through '94/'95 (Brandenburg/Fuller), SDSU won an average of 8.25 games per year, with a total of 33 wins for the period.
Then, again, from '96/'97 through '99/'00 (Trenkle/Fisher), SDSU won an average of 8.5 games per year, with a total of 34 for the period.
Those were dark days, indeed. For the entire decade of the '90s, SDSU bball averaged 9 wins per year, with a low of 2 and a high of 15.
