That St. Mary's game a while back was still the loudest in my book, but T&M was pretty loud. Quite a few Aztec fans out there, didn't see any post-game hatred by Rebel fans either.
The one hilarious thing was that nearly every single time a foul was committed by UNLV, the fans were cheering for a good 3-4 seconds after it until they realized it was against their team. They really had no idea what was going on.

Overheard late in the game from a UNLV fan sitting right behind me. The referees are giving the Aztecs every call. They protect the darlings of college basketball.
That is the first time I've heard that one about the Aztecs.

Just arrived home also...What an atmosphere at the T@M last night...Many proud Aztec fans, especially in the taxi line after the game....It was certainly the loudest I have ever heard an arena except the time I went to the Pit about 8 years ago with a sold out crowd and we pulled off the win, Randy Holcomb I think was the star that year...It was so loud you literally could not even talk to the person sitting next to you....Rebel fans seem to be losing patience with Kruger....Tark is a legend still for sure over there. Well the nice underlying message here is that Aztecs fans travel well. I hope it carries on to football next season.

C'mon bro, I'm sure it was loud. But louder than an NFL stadium? No. 18k in a closed space is almost always louder than 70k in an open space. Yes...just like an M-80 in an narrow alley........ Don't ask

We've had weak turnout there in the past, but I'm assuming/hoping this year is different. And re loud indoor arenas, nothing compares to NHL Playoffs - the two times I've gone (@chicago & @san Jose) were as loud as the loudest rock concert - truly deafening (lost my hearing for a few hours).

just got back too, and these guys are not kidding when UNLV tied the score, the noise was oppressively loud. But my favorite part was when there was 1.03 on the clock and DJ hit both FT, and we were 4 up, I could not believe the number of fans that headed for the exit. WHAT? Sweet ...just then the our students started chanting "EMPTY SEATS!!! EMPTY SEATS!!!" ....priceless.

The best part was when the Aztecs got up by about 6 early and The Show started doing the Woos, or the Ric Flair noises as I like to call them. Would you please explain what you mean by, "Ric Flair noises"? Smokey the Bear with shovel minds want to know. I heard the wooing over the Can't Broadcast Simpleshit, ta-boot! Great Job traveling Aztecs! HAM Not sure if you are serious. Do you know who Ric Flair is? WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
