Since he has been out of pro football for years, Off Topic seems the best place for this thread. The guy must be deeply disturbed.

This is exactly what's wrong with the idiots running our Judicial system. Not because leaf is in jail, but the fact that the state of Texas has a warrant out labeling him a fugitive from justice. He is in f-ing jail morons!!!

It quite amazes me how little empathy you have. You just write off everyone with an addiction as someone who is lacking in character. Shoot, I could easily state that anyone who believes in Hell and prays to God in hopes of getting into Heaven while being completely intolerant lacks character and is arrogant in your belief that you are somehow better because you found God.

You claim to be a "Christian" Pooh, but to this point I have never seen you offer anything in the way of Christian charity. All I see from you is arrogance and holier than thou belief system. But I guess that's what comes from a mega-church that tells you piety is all you need to get into Heaven.

No matter what some on here think, there are drugs I hate with a passion. I spent 4 years, from age 19 to 23 doing drug intervention with teenagers in OB, most of them from Pt. Loma who were getting downers from their family's medicine cabinet. Some of those kids OD'd in their teens and every one of them I still consider to be a failure.

But please tell us, Pooh; what sort of real-world experience have you ever had dealing with kids who became addicted to drugs? It must be nice to live in a world of such moral certitude without ever having to deal with reality.

Texas just wants to make sure that Montana ships Leaf to them when Montana is done with him. Nothing moronic about that.

I understand what Texas wants. However, labeling Leaf a fugitive from justice while he is in jail seems a little silly don't you think?? He isn't going anywhere. If somehow Leaf gets out in Montana, and then decides not to answer to the Texas authorities, then you can label him a fugitive from justice. Just saying!!!

Why wait? This way jhe goes straight to Texas after Montana. He does not pass GO, he does not get two hundred dollars, he goes straight to a Texas jail. I like it.

When has Ryan Leaf ever had any character??

He's had plenty of chances, and blew every single one of them. And after getting yet another chance he would always say something like "I was an idiot but I learned my lesson you'll see..." I don't feel sorry for that POS at all.
