Does anyone really want to watch any of the teams left in this thing? Same old teams, same old coaches, beyond-annoying announcers, forever commercial breaks - a dud of a tourney IMO.

How selfish soever man may be supposed, there are evidently some principles in his nature which interest him in the fortune of others, and render their happiness necessary to him, though he derives nothing from it except the pleasure of seeing it. Adam Smith |

Agree. I'll take great basketball over great storylines any day.
Too many times those cinderella teams end up fizzling out in the later rounds resulting in terrible games.

Why is this board so bitter towards winning programs? Heck, isn't that where we invision ourselves one day, in the winner's circle? Sure, I understand that some of the coaches left in the Final Four may not be the most shining examples, but they're proven winners. I know this group is all for doing things "the right way," but not even coach Fisher's career is free of scandal, and the more we win, the tougher coaching decisions will become; alas Alec Williams.
Today's games were fun to watch, especially Kansas/UNC. I don't need Cinderella stories.

Yep. what a great, entertaining game with some fantastic athletes who know how to win on the big stage. I picked Kansas to win it all in my bracket, but i was hoping they would have to get by the Aztecs in the sweet 16. I hope our boys can be in this thing still at this time next year, but they are done this year, so I'm just enjoying some great anxiety-free college basketball and laughing at the greasy east coast coaches.

great teams with great athletes on the biggest stage in college basketball, no matter what teams are in it i watch the tournament all the way through every year. I saw Kentucky play one of the best halfs of college basketball that i have ever seen today, against a team that whooped the Aztecs too.

I'm convinced that if you add Anthony Davis to any tournament team that they would be title contenders.

What pissed me off was CBS story on UNLV. It talked about them beating The Aztecs and their great future. How in the heck did they become a feature on the show. They didn't win The MWC and their recruiting class next year is no better than ours.

Greg Anthony. Is it really that hard to figure out? Man, we have a whiny fanbase

Frankly, b-ball is way over-hyped as a spectator sport, especially on TV. With no Aztecs I have no interet. It is repetitive, you are correct.

Not excited about the teams in the Final 4, but at least they got there the old fashioned way.
What a contrast from the joke of B(C)S football. Unless it's an Aztec game, I don't bother with college football anymore.

It sucks seeing UNC, Kansas, Kentucky, etc. ALWAYS in the mix at the end (and usually Duke). But, I have to say that the basketball was damn good. Kentucky v. Baylor was just nasty as hell. KY looked unbeatable--and played the game right. I was really hoping Baylor was gonna bring it for the the rest of us.
