Bruins take on #6 UofA tonight. My guess is there's no clear benefit or loss to us no matter who wins, based on our outcomes earlier this season against these two -- given that we can assume UCLA would re-enter the Top 25 with a win, and UofA will be seen as an Aztec "good loss" by the committee no matter what.
So between this matchup, and the UNLV-Wyoming game tonight, it's a good night to relax and just be a college basketball fan in front of the TV.

We want both UCLA and Zona ranked. Root for the Bruins.

Can God crunch the numbers for us like Bill can? If so, I'm all for him/her posting them here..... BRING IT G-O-D!

I would think in general it shouldn't matter much numbers-wise since we played both once and on a neutral court. I would think that from a more qualitative standpoint it is better to have good wins and avoid bad losses. U of A is not going to turn into a bad loss so it would be better to have UCLA turn into a better win.

RPI-wise it makes no difference. NCAA at large berth and seeding determination would be better for us if UCLA wins.
Right now RPI Forecast has the Bruins projected to be 12-6 in conference. They project the Bruins RPI for different PAC-12 records as follows:
13-5 #35.3 12-6 #42.3 11-7 #50.6 10-8 #60.0
The Bruins would be right on the verge of dropping out if the top 50 of RPI if they don't go at least 12-6 in conference. A teams RPI Top 50 record is a key metric used to determine seedings.

Just want UCLA and Arizona to finish 1 and 2 . UNLV wants Oregon to finish number 1.

After watching the game, I don't know if we could beat UCLA again. The team that played tonight seemed significantly better then they did against us.

After watching the game, I don't know if we could beat UCLA again. The team that played tonight seemed significantly better then they did against us. And the Aztecs were playing significantly better at that time as well. It's a long long season... the Aztecs need to recover their mojo. I think they will but who knows...

Our UCLA win might turn out to be the best out of conference for any team in the mwc.
